Artist Completes Largest Mural In New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - Keshet Center for the Arts is now home to the largest mural in New Mexico.

“Momentous Momentum Moments” by muralist Mick Burson was dedicated Thursday afternoon near Carlisle and I-40.

The 13,000 square-foot mural took eight weeks to complete.

Ninety-one gallons of paint and more than 200 volunteers helped with the execution.

Burson came up with the design after feedback was collected on what inspired the theme of “Community in Midtown.”
